Jakarta-based Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri takes on the GAC program
1st March 2017, Jakarta: Last month the private principle-centred educational organisation Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri became the most recent licensee to join the Global Assessment Certificate program’s group of approved teaching centres in Indonesia.
Founded in 1994, SPM is a non-denominational and not-for-profit educational organisation that follows a student-centred and inquiry-based approach with students from Kindergarten level to Senior High School. The school values are integrity, respect for self, others and the environment, and lifelong learning.
Graduates from SPM have gone on to succeed at reputable universities in Indonesia, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and China. Universitas Indonesia, Binus University and Pelita Harapan University (Indonesia), University of California and Cornish College of the Arts (USA), Curtin University and Edith Cowan (Australia) and the University of St Andrews and Newcastle University (UK) have all enrolled SPM graduates.
SPM integrates Indonesia’s National Curriculum with its international programs. The GAC program is expected to commence in July 2017.
